Issue #10: Full disclosure
"There’s no going back, and there’s no hiding the information. So let everyone have it."
Hi friends,
Hope you’ve had a great October.
This week, I attended a listening party. Towards the end of the event, one person commended the host, an indie artist, for having the courage to share his work at such an early stage.
This comment spurred a split second of intense reflection.
I am not one to showcase my efforts while they are still at an embryonic stage.
Maybe this results from my upbringing?
I come from a conservative family. And throughout my recent history, I am used to taking a backseat in such things.
But there are benefits to being transparent and owning your work. My friend, for instance, collected some helpful feedback after a few hours. He will now go back and make better music for his audience.
So perhaps I need to challenge myself to grow in this area?
With that said, I'm excited to announce that Tutorpass will be open for private beta from January 2022. If you are interested in being one of the first users, please get in touch with me at hello@tutorpass.co.uk.
Following the last two newsletter updates on Tutorpass micro-pivot, I've made a few tweaks to the website. You can have a look at it here.
Last but not least, in a break from the norm, this month's article is all about the Tutorpass platform itself. You can read it here.
Let me know your thoughts on the above. I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading. Until next month.
